Review of Cave of Forgotten Dreams (2010) by Patrick F — 30 May 2011
It had quite a profound Subject with not much of any particular Story. The cave itself, and its significance, is awe-inspiring in its scale of time and power. But it felt like a discovery channel special that had been stretched to fill a 90 minute quota.
Every 'scene' of exhibition about the cave was very informative, but often was short of compelling. Seeing it 3D in a big movie theater was pretty nice, but most of what's worth appreciating will be there down the road when this film is airing on the History/Discovery Channel 6 times a day.
