Review of Cave of Forgotten Dreams (2010) by Justin D — 31 May 2011
A decent documentary about French caves that contain the earliest paintings made by man. Hands down one of the greatest 3D films ever created as the camera movements are slow moving and play into the strengths of 3D filming. It does feel like you're in the caves during the film. I also really enjoyed the music of the film.
I thought the film was a bit long and some of the people that spoke, although clearly loving what they're doing, take away from the movie slightly because of saying things that are very obvious or completely out of left field (could be something lost in translation).
Overall it's definitely worth a look, especially in 3D!
