Review of Cave of Forgotten Dreams (2010) by Jon T — 31 Jul 2011
It's fascinating and engaging stuff. It felt like walking through a particularly interesting museum with low lighting and a soft recorded voice narrating various displays and giving extra information.
That is all due to 3D. This is the first film I have ever seen where 3D is practically necessary. The film would be so much less without it. It doesn't just add to the experience, it creates the entire experience.
