Review of Cave of Forgotten Dreams (2010) by Sean L — 18 Jun 2012
This movie is an examination of a the Chauvet Caves home of some of the oldest know pictorial creations known to mankind. While the film gives plenty of moments to mediate on our history it spends more time asking questions and saying look at this neat thing.
Most of these questions are not answered and while the neat things are indeed super neat they dont always connect well or give much more then a romantic interpretation of a simple image. This movie is obsessed about a magic of these pictures that it does not always earn.
Very cool still and beautiful.
