Obvious parallels to Cape Fear and another take on this genre is always welcome although there's nothing really new here save some impressing surfing from the decent actors.
I kept getting confused with Daisy Betts not being Anne Hathaway which she looks a lot like, but NOT being Anne Hathaway is a plus. On the whole this film's ok but not a life changer. Next...
