Review of Catwoman (2004) by Jordan W — 04 Aug 2011
When news of a Catwoman film reached our ears, I was unsure of how good it was going to be. Michelle Pfeiffer played her so well in 'Batman Returns' that I wondered if anyone else would be able to match.
Helle Berry takes the role of the cat, however not the same woman we all know from the comics, cartoons and films. She is Patience Philips and is gifted with the powers of a cat and uses it to do good and bad.
It is shame to say that this film is not brilliant. The story is weak and the acting leave sa lot to be desired. Sharon Stone saves the film a little as the villain whos cosmetic products have made her invincible!
'Catwoman' is a film to see when there is nothing else to do. It has its moments but don't be expecting anything great.
