Review of Cat's Eye (1997) by Dave K — 17 Nov 2007
This movie scared the shit out of me when I was a kid. In fact, I think out of any film i've ever watched, this one affected me the most.
For years, I would put anything I could find along the baseboard of my room walls, in order to block the troll from coming and taking my breath. I'd use books, VCR tapes, Lego castles, my He-man and Skeletor castles, even my huge Cobra Command Center. Anything to prevent that little bastard with the jester hat from sucking my breath out of me.
I can't even watch this movie because of the effect it had on me in my childhood.
I rated it 2 stars and not 1 because the way the cat gets rid of the damn troll is awesome.
