Review of Cats Don't Dance (1997) by Jon C — 22 Sep 2012
For 1997:
Another bonafide 90's classic for all ages.
The animation is spectacular for the cinematic feel.
I love the songs, the music, and the characters.
Darla Dimple, the film's villain is like an alternate Shirley Temple.
Anyone can make it in Hollywood as long as teamwork and believing in yourself exists.
The film also cleverly plays off the 30's/40's film era.
'Cats Don't Dance' says show your stuff in show business and make people remember your talent.
