The fun premise of this cute film isn't always executed with the zest you'd expect with way too much time devoted to the canines (mainly the interactions of Lou, Butch and Ivy), and nowhere near enough attention given to the felines, which is a shame because Sean Hayes, especially, shines as the villain of the piece.
Thus, 'Cats & Dogs' is more entertaining in parts than in whole.
