Review of Cats (1998) by Pamela D — 21 May 2009
Generally accessible, frivolous musical for Midwest tourists to Broadway, it's still cute in that the writer obviously did own a cat and understands their personalities.
The redeeming element is the extensive use of verse from T.S. Elitot's Book of Practical Cats, very funny, cute poetry that describes cats well, (one of his better works, in my unqualified opinion).
Some of the Prose in Practical Cats is also quoted in Logan's Run.
