Review of Catfish (2010) by Cassie R — 25 Apr 2011
There is still debate as to whether or not this documentary was staged. Some people don't like the raw, shaky camera work. My response is, Who Cares? It's a very smart and refreshing film that creatively engages us again in the question of what defines beauty and attraction while also, reminding us of how the internet (facebook especially) keeps our minds wondering. Catfish moves at a nice quick pace and delivers a brilliant finish so it's worth its 81% rating.
