Whether this is authentic or not (and for what it's worth, I think it is) is not really the issue. This is a sharply made and keenly observed documentary that shifts effortlessly and skilfully between tones at exactly the right moments.
Compelling, just make sure you don't hear as little as you can about what happens in order to get the full effect.
