Review of Catfish (2010) by Roswell C — 13 Oct 2011
It certainly is better going into the film knowing nothing at all about it but it won't make it any higher than average. It is a decent documentary which if shown on television might get a larger audience but seemed a bit weak as a film.
The discovery about Nev( the main guy)'s facebook friends is good in that fact that it is authentic and could happen easily than you would previously imagine in real life. Nontheless, the twist still isn't that powerful because no real threat or life change on the main character has occurred, serving as just an interesting notion rather than an entertaining one.
It is created and shot extremel well and is far from tedious.
