Review of Catfish (2010) by Hans F — 12 Apr 2012
Very interesting reality film of a small mid-western town lady who has created several virtual multiple personalities via Facebook. It's a psycho-thriller that you feel scared, frightened, abused, violated, sorrow, and compassion as you see the life of the lead unfolds and entwined with the subject.
The movie has a "Blair Witch Project" -esque feeling at time, but your emotions go through the stages of grief/death.
The title "Catfish" is so intriguing as it relates to the story. People always need a catalyst to themselves forward, if not, they go to waste.
