Review of Catch.44 (2011) by John S — 11 Jan 2012

This a must avoid film. Ridiculous story has three women sent to a diner to retrieve drug money for their boss (Bruce Willis in a totally throwaway role). At the diner, they learn that it is all a setup to kill them for a previous failure.

A shootout later, two of the women are dead as are all but one of the killers. The two remaining are in a standoff until a third killer (Forest Whitaker, who for some reason decided he wanted to use a terrible Spanish accent), confronts the two.

Proclaiming his love for the woman, he asks her to marry him or he will kill her. mayhem ensues. If this gives away too much of the film and keeps you from watching it, then this review was successful.
