Review of Catch Me If You Can (2002) by Ian E — 14 Apr 2013
A fun and breezy caper flick with two great lead performances. Both Hanks and DiCaprio are cast perfectly to type, but they both bring an originality to each role that marks some of the best work of their careers.
Christopher Walken and Amy Adams (in one of her earliest screen roles) are both terrific as well. The movie is far too long (by 40 minutes, at least), but it's still exciting and very funny. I'm also a fan of the delightfully mischievous score by John Williams.
