Review of Catch Me If You Can (2002) by Sam N — 10 May 2013
First-class. Exciting, at times strikingly witty, at other times saddening, Catch Me If You Can is a brilliant depiction of Frank the young genius, following him down the rabbit-hole and through a myriad of places and situations.
DiCaprio is in fine form, as is Hanks, both of them depicting the strangely friendly relationship that can develop between pursuer and pursued.Catch Me If You Can showcases Spielberg's talent for telling a damn good story, with a big heart.
