Review of Catch Hell (2014) by Sinead M — 06 Jan 2015
Enjoyable, well-paced, sufficiently gripping thriller. Sinister leanings from early on re the intentions of the half-wit co-captor keep the viewer adequately hooked in anticipation of what fate is to come for captive Ryan Phillippe.
Said half wit is played to dusturbing perfection. The film holds back a bit however on realism which could have brought a darker, more cutting vibe and more lasting impression.
