Review of Catch a Fire (2006) by Lorenzo V — 28 Nov 2008
Very underrated. This real story about a black man and a white man during apartheid is nothing short of outstanding. Derek Luke and Tim Robbins give masterful performances, making us care for the characters.
Even though Tim's character is supposed to be the 'evil' guy, we can sort of see how he does what he thinks is best for his family's well being. The scenes with the real Patrick Chamusso at the end were great.
Especially when he explains why he didn't kill Nic when he had the chance. Watch this.
