Review of Catacombs (2007) by Daniel M — 12 May 2008
It was mainly the trailer's mixture of darkness, claustrophobia, and Shannyn Sossamon that drew me to this film. However, this combination alone is not enough to hold it together. It started out with a decent beginning, but got extremely repetitive throughout the entire midsection.
But the ending absolutely saved the film. It's wonderfully satisfying, and it makes the slight entertainment salvaged from the previous hour and fourty minutes quite worth the wait.
