Review of Catacombs (2007) by Cecily B — 23 Mar 2010
Originally gave this movie a chance because Pink is in it, and I like something about Shannyn Sossamon however after this movie it made me think that Sossamon is really terrible, she spent half the time in the movie screaming, not that someone else in her position wouldnt do the same thing but this is a movie, you shouldnt want to turn the volume off because of annoyance.
The beginning of the movie is decent however as soon as the "antichrist" is introduced the movie becomes cheesy and predictable, the killer walks to slow, just general things arent practicle ie any scary movie that has a killer in it these days.
Once the movie progresses it kind of takes a turn, (hehe just like the labyrinth they are in) new things arise. Its just really predictable and kinda stretches through periods where nothing is happening.
oh did I mention how annoying her screaming is? Anyway watch at your own risk, you could just be annoyed to death. I have to give it atleast 2 stars because I liked the ending, I was only going to give it half a star originally.
