Review of Cat People (1942) by Matt C — 30 Jul 2009
A classic but for me it hasn't aged that well. There is a good hour of build up in which really not a lot happens apart from explaining some Serbian backstory involving cat women. Once we get to the menacing section the film comes into it's own, it's creepy and atmospheric and starts to pull you in.
Then it's all over!
