Review of Cat on a Hot Tin Roof (1958) by Jason G — 07 Apr 2008
A classic movie version of Tennessee Williams play of the same name. Worth every minute. Love Burl Ives as "Big Daddy" Pollitt. "There ain't nuthin' more powerful than the smell of mendacity!" Madeleine Sherwood who play Mae Pollitt reminds me of people I know on some spooky level; backstabing, talking badly about people behind their back, and walking around with a holier than thou attitude. She makes me stabby, which is probably the point of her role in the film.
Classic piece of cinema. Highly recommend.
