Review of Cat on a Hot Tin Roof (1958) by Silas P — 08 May 2009
A tense domestic drama with a good cast and fine acting, particularly from Ives. Newman is far too stiff and facially expressionless in a role that demands far more desperation. Taylor is better but seems rather bland for the part.
Nevertheless, well worth watching.
