Review of Cat Ballou (1965) by Heather T — 18 Jan 2009
I read that this was supposed to make fun of the old Western genera, but it came off as kind of stupid and unnecessary. There was far too much singing and lame shenanigans, and very littler that was actually funny.
Lee Marvin should have been forced to return the Oscar he somehow ended up with for this movie, since the Academy clearly just gave it to him for being Lee Marvin.
