Review of Cat Ballou (1965) by Dylan D — 21 Jun 2006
Not only does Cat Ballou have some awesome action scenes, it combines with great humor that is appropriate for all ages. Lee Marvin is probably the main cast member who delivers the most laughs as he plays two parts.
My favorite was when he played the drunk perfectly. Towards the end there was a horse that crossed it legs. I have no idea how that happened but it has to be one of the greatest sight gags in history.
Cat Ballou is just an all around perfect film, with it's charm, action, and comedy that takes its place as one of the all-time greats.
