Review of Casualties of War (1989) by Noah T — 26 Aug 2007
Very disturbing Vietnam film about one soldiers moral responsibilty after his squad kidnaps a Vietnamese girl which they rape and eventually kill. Michael J. Fox is very good, but for some reason Sean Penn didn't quite do it for me in this one.
It's usually the other the way around. Brian DePalma takes a break from thrillers and the mafia to direct.
