Review of Casualties of War (1989) by Brogan R — 16 Dec 2007
Looked at in a lesser light than other Vietnam war movies, this one surprised me. Michael J. Fox in a war movie? But then you have Sean Penn and it's directed by De Palma, so I figured what do I have to lose.
Nothing it turns out, as Fox pulls of his role flawlessly. It's actually Penn who's a little miscast. Overall though, this is a great war movie about the struggle of doing the right thing, even when your peers think otherwise.
