Review of Cast Away (2000) by Keith W — 16 May 2012
There' not a single aspect of this film which I would clasd as perfected, but it's not far off. Editing is a little rough around the edges and music is minimal. But along with mostly impressive visuals, the script uses the its language effectively, and Robert Zemeckis demonstrates his observational skills through his directing.
Still, it's Tom Hanks class, one-man performance that makes this film captivating.
