Review of Cast Away (2000) by Kevin H — 06 May 2012
Not too many people could pull off what Hanks did for "Cast Away". He, for much of the film, is the only person on screen and with no humans or animals to interact with, his character interacts with himself and Wilson, a volleyball.
The story is a great one of survival and how when we lose things we realize all that we lost. Zemeckis and co. did a wonderful job in bringing this story to screen and it is one of my all-time favorites.
Also love the music in the film.
