Review of Casshern (2004) by Carlos S — 06 Sep 2008
To make a live action Anime film is a very ambitious project to try to put together. This is not perfect, but its worth a look. Its a stunning looking film, the design is amazing and it really feels like an anime film.
It is a bit overblown in places and way too long, but it is one of the best examples of Steampunk I've seen. If you are looking for a beautiful looking film and don't mind sitting through a lot of slow 'arty' stuff, have a look.
