I unknowingly rented a copy that didn't have English subtitles so I had to kind of figure out what was going on myself. The movie is a live-action anime...right down to the camera work, the unrealistic cgi, the costumes, the haircuts, the action coreagraphy, etc.
Pretty good acting though. Pretty well conveyed anti-war message too.
