Review of Casshern (2004) by Adam E — 03 Jan 2009
Insane live action adaptation of the popular animated series. Filmed in front of bluescreen, Casshern looks absolutely amazing and is visually as bloated as a wet sponge. Its ambitious visuals, its crazy costumes, complex Frankenstein-like storyline, giant robots, Dragonball-style battles are all well worth the ride.
Bare in mind it is insane though.
