Review of Cassandra's Dream (2007) by Jared H — 20 Apr 2010

I dunno. With Woody Allen's style of direction (not really any close-ups, no music, long takes), I think that the drama doesn't really come through as sharp as it should. His style worked well with comedies, but maybe with dramas, it's not as suitable. Maybe if it were better written, it might have been more powerful, I dunno.

There's nothing to hate about this movie. It's actually fairly strong, but I guess I just think it could have been better.
