Review of Cassandra's Dream (2007) by Sarah O — 28 Sep 2011
This movie presents a moral conundrum between 2 brothers who are offered the opportunity to pull off a hit for their rich uncle. Terry has a gambling problem and needs the money to pay off his debts and keep all his limbs. Ian is greedy and wants the money in order to keep his new high-maintenance girlfriend happy (or keep her period) since he presented himself as a high roller.
I found the situation suspenseful since these 2 men are clearly not trained for this type of work, nor have the requisite temperment (I'm guessing here).
Anyways, both Farrell and McGregor are irresistible - the main reason for me seeing this movie in the first place.
