Review of Cassandra's Dream (2007) by Jason R — 18 Sep 2008

This is a tough film to rate. It's got wonderful moments of opulent fantasy mixed in with working class reality. There are a few good twists and bold compositional choices not to mention the 5 act structure of a Shakespearean tragitity.

I think the film should have jumped from the rational to the irrational faster and harder than it did because it all seemed a little to real and just sad without that edge of storytelling.
