Review of Cassandra's Dream (2007) by Stuart K — 24 Mar 2014
Two working class London brothers, one with a gambling problem and one with dreams of a better life (and a new expensive girlfriend), get wrapped up in a murder plot to help their rich uncle when they ask for financial help.
It is an average thriller...a plot that has been done before and much better. McGregor and Farrell both do their bests, but their isn't enough in the script to keep you interested, and it has a pace that doesn't work as well as Allen's previous thriller "Match Point".
