Review of Casper (1995) by William D — 06 Nov 2011
Casper, one of my favourite films as a child, still delights sixteen years after its first release. It's a fun-filled, amusing but yet gentle and genuinely touching family flick, one of the best to come out of the 90's and to come out of Christina Ricci's career - I had a bit of a crush on her when I was younger - and one every kid should at least see once in their youth.
If it had fallen into the wrong hands, Casper would possibly have been excruciating, sugary-sweet sentimental,.
