Review of Casino Royale (2006) by William J — 31 Dec 2012
Bond's best outing in years cemented Daniel Craig as one of the finest actors to ever portray the super spy. A monolithic intensity familiar to fans of Fleming's novels, forsaking a lot of the series' hitherto playfulness in favour of a serious, real and touchingly human 007 story.
Yet, it still has all the high-octane thrills and dry British wit that we expect and love from good ole James. Bravo.
