Review of Casino Royale (1954) by Joel W — 21 Jul 2014
The worst Bond movie I have seen. Prologue consists of 007 assaulting some bloke at a urinal. Compare that with seat-edge Moonraker or TWINE. The scenes in Venice really didn't exploit the city. The characterisations are an unexpected pathetic attempt at realism for an otherwise escapist reality-suspending series.
