Review of Casino Jack (2010) by Forrest P — 18 Jan 2011

I had no idea what this film was about. I had gathered (from the title) that it had to do something with Casino's, and had assumed it took place in Vegas. I think that I had seen the preview once. Anyway, I love Kevin Spacey, so I went to see it strictly based upon my admiration of his work.

Much to my surprise, it did not take place in Vegas, and rather than being about gambling or casino's, it had to do with special interest and lobbyists. It was a very interesting tale of (probably) exactly what lobbyists do, and how our "system" works (unfortunately).

It's not a great film, but I did find it entertaining, with a story that flowed (most of the time), and it was interesting.
