The film offers the basic joy of watching a real scumbag get stabbed with a satirical sword. But, as the film progresses, it becomes too obvious what little comedy can be mined out of the Jack Abramoff story.
It wants to be a biting satire, but it's too broad-stroked, never making much of a point beyond "greedy people suck.".
