Review of Casino (1995) by Liam C — 20 Feb 2014

Damn is this film long, it's only three hours and I saw Wolf of Wall Street a few weeks ago but this just felt three times as long! It just kept going! I feel like this is another minor entry in Scorsese's work but I'm sure many will disagree and the initial 45 minutes of nonstop voice over was starting to rub me the wrong way but soon after I found myself just diving into the corrupt gambling world and seeing how things played out.

Sharon Stone was amazing. It is a one of a kind complex thrill ride that is thoroughly entertaining and engrossing crime drama.
