Underated gangster flix from Scorsese this is an epic at over three hours long but the domestic hell of "Ace and Gingers" relationship at the core of the movie helps move the plot along at a steady pace with only a couple dragging moments.

Ginger a hustler played by Sharon Stone gives the best performance of her career really the only performance of her career. She make for a engaging character whos motives are clear but thought process kept ambiguosly hidden unlike the other characters.
