Review of Casino (1995) by Amjad A — 22 Apr 2013

Great performances, brilliant storytelling and a strong magnificent cast who deliver amazing performances. A stylishly ultra violent tour de force of the Casino underground gangster scene. It's a Scorsese triumph.

However, it doesn't compare to some of his other work, such as Taxi Driver, Raging Bull and Goodfellas. The film is quite overly long, and it is somewhat weirdly and awkwardly paced. It does have flaws, but the pros outweigh the cons.
