Review of Casino (1995) by Robert G — 07 May 2014

Not you typical gangster movie. Martin Scorsece used more of a documentary style to shoot this story. It works and gets the point across, but to make the story flow there are lots of voice overs narrating the story done by De Niro or Pesci.

As far as the acting, it is great all around. De Niro and Pesci are perfect in there roles as gangsters. Sharon Stone plays a great drugged out slut, seriously though she does a great job as well in this movie.

But the acting doesn't end there the support is there as well, James Woods, Don Rickels, Kevin Pollak, and Frank Vincent, just an amazing job of acting. What else would you expect from a Scorsese film.

Great film, very entertaining for a gangster movie lover like me. Long but the more the better as far as I am concerned.
