Review of Casino (1995) by Alex O — 19 May 2014
A stylish, brutal and uncompromising look at sin city's inner workings and another Scorsese masterpiece. It is a little long though. It could have done with some trimming, maybe 20 minutes to a half hour.
It's a vicious, no holds barred gut check of a mafia movie. Grade A stuff, with Martin Scorsese what isn't.
