Review of Casino (1995) by L L — 28 Nov 2016
After a while, all Scorsese's films seem the same: 'bad guys' threaten less courageous other 'bad guys' with violence; some people get rich for a while until a couple of the main characters die.
The end. The same shit every time. Gets old. And in Casino, the violence was a bit much; and watching the film in fast forward (x1.5) didn't make the film any more exciting or endurable. For a better Scorsese, see The Departed - more plot, less cliche.
