Review of Cashback (2007) by William H — 30 May 2009
This film is dominated by a poor choice of music. If it wasn't that it would have been a fun love-story between an insomniac recovering from a heartbreak with a girl who he works with in a super market.
It would do so much better if you had some goofy romantic comedy music you usually find in Adam Sandler flicks or your usual Hugh Grant stuff. If the kid turned out to be a psycho and drug addict, I'd warrant the creepy tunes, but he's just heart-broken; get over it.
