The 2004 short that this film is based on is intriguing and sexy, a reflection on the passage of time and female beauty. The director then beefed up the short film to a full-length, turning it into a by-the-books romantic comedy.
It's watchable and entertaining, but not nearly as arty or significant as it thinks it is.
